“From the oldest cultures on Earth, ancient myths and legends tell of powerful, magical beings that have existed as our trusted allies, protectors, and advisors. It’s said they’ve lived alongside humanity since time began, yet in another dimension separated by a thin etheric veil. Angels, Faeries, Nature Spirits, and others walked between the worlds and beside us openly for a time. They served with us as co-creators of the bridge between the realms of the Spirit and those on Earth.” – From the companion booklet
Designed to reconnect seekers with innate perceptions and higher understanding, the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards features gilt edging and gorgeous imagery by artist Jena DellaGrottaglia (Duirwaigh).
Depicting magical archways into fanciful, otherworldly places, these cards cover themes from compassion to abundance, creativity to partnerships, and angelic help to synchronicity.
Imparted through dreams at Sedona to psychic Colette Baron-Reid, the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards convey powerful symbols and themes that speak to universal issues, concerns, hopes and challenges. Rather than predicting the future, these cards are geared towards unraveling persistent patterns that hinder our personal growth and highest expression of Being, as well as illuminating truths that may be buried, overlooked or ignored.
Some of the card titles may seem cheesy to some, but the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards present an imaginative source for counsel, comfort and insight. Some of the cards in this deck include:
• The Chess Queen – trust, strategizing
• The Resting Tree – patience, stillness
• The Ringmaster of Destiny – discernment, clear vision, details
• The Lady of Lightning – surprises, sometimes shock; total paradigm shift
• The Keeper of the Scales – fairness, balance
• The Sacred Union – partnership, romance
• The Hungry Ghosts – obsession, scarcity consciousness, attachment
• The Sun Dancers – joyful activity, celebration of life, abundance
The 123-page companion booklet provides small grayscale reproductions of each numbered card, as well as the card title, keywords, and number (which are also show on the imagery). In addition, Baron-Reid explains how the energy of each card can present itself as an Ally or a Challenger, depending whether the card is drawn upright or reversed.
Baron-Reid also shows seekers how to do a reading and provides three sample readings, as well as tips on asking fruitful questions.
I’ve had the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards on my Amazon.com Wishlist for some time, but when I saw them in person at a brick-and-mortar store, I felt compelled to buy them. I’m very glad I did; this deck is one of the most innovative, pointed, and attractive decks I’ve every worked with.
Colette Baron-Reid’s spiritual discernment goes way beyond the shallow platitudes sometimes found in pretty oracle decks, with the companion booklet brimming with probing (yet gentle) observations and practical advice encouraging seekers to reach for their highest personal good and overall wellbeing.
I’ve found the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Deck to be an accurate form of divination. A side benefit is that it’s imagery and card titles are wonderful for brainstorming and idea generation for writers and artists, too.
Highly recommended!
